Becoming a California Rock Radio staple at stations like KSJO in San Jose, KZOZ in SLO, KFM in Chico and The Fox in Santa Rosa, Bower really began to define his radio voice at KRZR 103.7 “The Wild Hare” in Fresno where his show “The Meat Shop” quickly developed into one of the most popular radio shows in the Central Valley. His success propelled KRZR to it’s dominance in the market as the premiere rock station.

“The Meat Shop” launched at TK101 in Pensacola, Florida with one of the best show launch stunts in radio in the early 2000’s. Commercials for an “internet exotic meat wholesaler” airing on TK101 caused the competing rock station to contact the wholesaler’s website. That website, a week later, opened to viewers seeing meat for sale that – within seconds – dissolved to reveal that meatshop.net was indeed the website for Bower’s Morning Show on TK101.

Following a two-and-a-half year stint on the “Brand X Morning Show” at KCXX “X1039” in San Bernardino, California – Bower was lured away to host Afternoons on Sirius Satellite Radio’s “Maxim Radio”.

That is where Bower developed his passion for stand-up comedy cutting his teeth in clubs like Caroline’s and Gotham Comedy Club and sharing the stage with the likes of Dane Cook and SNL’s Darryl Hammond. The Sirius New York City studios were Bower’s home for achieving National and International radio success.
